One Tag Two Sides

Well I am at last ahead of the game, this tag I have decorated both sides of it for my Hels Angels May swap, the theme being oriental.

the first side has been stamped and then masked, I did distress inks in strips across the tag, then stamped some script and other oriental stamps and finished it with a little quote. the next side of the tag might look familar as I did a card like this just a while ago, I have stamped the flowers and coloured them in with chalks then the lady stamp ( Imperial Cargo Stamp) is stamped on homemade glossy paper and matted on Gold Mirri Card and the word for that finishing touch.

Hope you like this Tag and I did three tags almost identical for the swap, thanks for taking time out to look at my Blog xx

Just Sew In Love

I bought this stamp at Ally Pally and thought it was great for a variety of cards, I have made 2 cards almost the same and thought they would be great Anniversary Cards.

I have painted the stamped Image in with Watercolour Pencils, then matted it on black card, the matt at the back of each card has some of Paper Artsy heart stamps on, then the words are printed from the computer and also on a matt.

hope you like these as I see I am having a cute moment right now, not sure how long that will last, thanks for looking xx

Family Scrapbook Page

I did this page last year for my In-Laws Album, it was not easy getting the childrens pics on tiny chipboard circles, so thats why some photos look bigger than the others, but I loved this page and wanted to share it, in the middle photo is hubbys parents, his brother, his brothers wife and me and hubby, then all around are our children and marks brothers children and my In-Laws great grandchildren. ( totally confusing to you all) the writing were rub-on letters that were painstakingly hard work to put on, then prima flowers and gems added.

hope you like this LO as much as I do and thanks for looking xx

Little Ellie

This card is a direct copy from a stand at the Ally Pally, I bought this Penny Black elephant stamp whilst I was there.

I stamped the image then watercoloured it in and also used my prismas, the flowers have been decoupaged, the quote is also Penny Black which I to bought whilst at Ally Pally, I photographed the card they had as an example and copied them as I thought it so cute, the only thing I am missing is some tiny hearts around the card. hope you like it and if you think you have seen it before then you could of been where I was xxx

Sunday Stamper Challenge Faces

Here are my cards for this weeks Sunday Stamper Challenge, which was set by Tina as its her Birthday ( happy birthday Tina xx) and the theme is faces.

Cards one and two are using the same ingredients really but laid out differently, I have stamped the Crafty Individuals Stamp on red card, I also stamped on 1 inch pieces of stampbord some of the girls faces and went round the edges with gold krylon and stuck them over the top to give the 3D look, on card one I matted the image on gold mirri card and on some time paper, the wording is a stamp from Artistic Stamper, card two I put a gold mirri strip, red and black then put the image on the top and again stampbord pieces ( well you can see what I have done as its hard to explain )

card three is the same main stamp done on Alcohol Inked glossy paper, I then restamped it a few times and cut out sections to decoupage it, though it does not show well in the picture its actually effective, the childhood dreams stamp is from Artistic Stamper.

thanks for taking time to look at my work and I sooooooooo apologise for my awful descriptions xx

MTTCC Gothic Arch A First

Well these are a first for me, have been itching to try a Gothic Arch for ages and finally have, not sure if they are meant to be like this, I do not have a clue ( nothing new there then) the picture to the left is just an arch and the one to the right is a card.

I have made these for the MTTCC which was frames this week, I have used Lost Coast Designs stamps and the Frame Stamp is a new set from Paperbag Studios, Linda and I did a little online shopping together by the phone and internet. the script is from Artistic Stamper, I have used Distress Inks and Gold Krylon for added detail. the card is my homemade Glossy Cardstock done with Alcohol Inks and the same stamps as the Arch on its own, there are a few odd words and a quote, also on the first Arch I added a Stamped Party Hat, I just could not help myself, I really enjoyed trying these and hopefully will try more, hope you like and thanks for looking xxx

Credit where its due

Firstly a great big huge THANKYOU to Linda-E, Linda kindly made me a 16th Birthday card for a boy in the same sort of theme as the card above, it was Black and Silver instead of the Red and Gold. so I have completely copied Linda but done for a girl instead and used the Stampotique girl for the number one, the number six is from Linda to, as she kindly mailed me the template all by E-Mail ( the wonders of technology) I think that the design Linda came up with are Brilliant for teenager cards and for that I am so thankful to Linda for being so very talented, if you wish to view Lindas Blog its http://acraftingjourney.blogspot.com/ A fab Blog it is to.

How Proud Am I

Well you may think this is odd, but I am so proud of my Hubby and Son, George is 9 years old, He had a homework for this school holiday to make an outfit for an old fashioned peg, yes a peg, he chose to do a Soldier and I think that between the two of them they have done a fantastic job, so I just had to blog it.

they made the clothes from old material and a bendy wire for the arms, the helmet and boots are play doh, its certainly a far better job than I would of made, hubby says me being the crafter should of done it, but I can assure you it would not of looked this Fab, hope you like it, cos I love what they did, thanks for looking xx

Awesome Scrapbook Page

I have Titled this LO Awesome as the views from the top of the Mountain were just that. this page is one picture to many for Lesleys Challenge, but I might sneek it on anyway LOL

I have plain blue cardstock, matted the two main photos on Silver Mirri Card. the smaller photo is on a Tag that I inked and put script writing, then did the wording in strips printed from the computer. the Stars around the page and the Title are Tims Grungeboard, the Title has been crackle painted slightly then done with a Silver Dabber, as have the Stars. the wording are just some quotes I have mounted up in my Stash.

I hope you like this page and the Photos are a little difficult to see due to the fact it was rather sunny on that Mountain, thanks for taking time out to look xx
