Numbers MTTCC

What a great chance to finally finish this little chipboard book, the MTTCC this week is numbers. So here is my final piece to the book and all for the challenge, the top piece has been crackle painted stamped with a lost coast stamp, a Tims doo dad and a metal token that I put the number 48 on. The second piece is the background paper I made and not sure now who made the stamp, but all complete and I can now jump up and down in delight.
Hope you like and thankyou for looking xx

Distressed side two

Well here is side two, did not go quite to plan and I ended up having to cover this side with paper then stamp, I had crumpled the tag sooooo much for side one that when I went to stamp on this side it looked like nothing. I got there in the end and these have been my hardest to do tags ever.

for this side I have used Distress inks, stamps and a Key and the faithful white pen, also for the first time I used Tims new Ideaolgy thingies ( not sure of the name but its the scrappy torn piece at the top with the lock stamped on it ) well you can kind of see what I have done, just hope this sides distressed and shabby enough for Hels. hope you like and thankyou for looking xx

very very distressed tags and MTTCC

Well what can I say about these tags, the swap this month for Hels was to have tags as shabby and old looking as you can, do you know just how hard it is to turn a nice new tag in to an old wreck, very very difficult, these tags have been burnt, screwed up, inked, crackle painted and rubbed to death, the stamps are Tims birds and the gates from Paperbag Studios, also I used a fine gold pen, I still have the backs of the tags to do yet but am waiting for a Stamp. these will cover the MTTCC which is birds this week.
well what you will make of these I do not know, but thanks for looking xx

My Time To Craft Challenge, Quotes And Sayings

These cards for My Time To Craft Challenge are using my own made background papers, suprise, suprise !!!!!! the first card is all script stamp background in broken china and faded jeans distress inks. the stamp is from an E-Bay seller and I thought it was quite different so bought it. I have matted the image on Silver Mirri Card and put blue brads in for decoration, now the message stamp I love but with out running downstairs I am not sure who by.

the 2nd card is using different homemade paper, its been done with perfect pearls and water and painted on, then the stamped Diva on the top ( same seller as above) she is matted on Silver Mirri also and on Blue cardstock. the script is using tea dye and broken china distress ink pads and a litlle spiced marmalade thrown in for good measure, the script again not sure who by ( gosh I am hopeless LOL) but is also on silver mirri card but at an angle. hope you like them both and thanks for looking xx this challenge is fun as I have loads of quotes I could use, might have to do more .

Wage Slips Of A Different Kind

Here is another that some of you may have already seen, this is made from the old fashoined brown wage packets. I decorated the fronts with various stamps and distress inks, plus some wax seals to. then each envelope I made contents from CD discs to tags , stampbord, chipboard and mountboard. I decorated these in various of ways, this was one of those projects that you start then wish that you had not. must say when I had finally finished I was pretty pleased with the result.

Dan let me borrow his BIA to put it together, this is one of the only BIA projects I have done, sadly my BIA is still sitting in its box as I am to scared to try it out, oops, hope you enjoy looking at this as I do not see me making another to soon xx
by the way I am still getting used to this blogging lark x

Well I have dragged these out of the woodwork, I did these tags as part of a bundle for my friend Hels, these were some of the very first tags that I made and goodness, I tried a mixture of things on these and to my suprise was pleased with the results. I guess I got ideas for these from Seeing the man himself ( Tim Holtz ) at Puffin Crafts in the February last year. and these were days before I started adding Embellishments, I actually think these are some of my faves!!!!!

There are I believe about 5 more to this set, I used everything from Dabbers, Watercolours, Distressing, Embossing and all kinds, Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them xx
I might just drag the others from out the woodwork yet !!

All Stamping Scrapbook Page

I made this 12 x 12 scrapbook page using Artistic Stamper Gibson Girls and script for the background. Fired brick and Aged mahogany Distress Ink Pads were used to colour the page, and the girls were coloured in with distress ink and a paintbrush. "Girls we love" title was stamped using Tim Holtz Chronicles stamps.

Me to You Stampbord

These stampbord pieces have been made using distress inks, artistic stamper gibson girls stamps and the masking technique. They were coloured in with H2Os and scratched out afterwards.
