This old heart SS Challenge

Here is my entry for this weeks SS Challenge, which is hearts, I have stamped the Paper Artsy young love on white then matted on red and black cardstock, then I stamped some of Hels new stitchels heart stamps( which are just great to work with ) on red cardstock, cut them out and 3D foam squared them and arranged around the card. then stamped the words with an alphabet set ( can never get them straight) matted that and card complete and ideal for Hubbys Birthday in September. hope you like it and thanks for looking xx

Theres A Pocket About

Well here it is my first pocket for Hels brand new challenge, which can be found here. I have done a few different things with this, covered my blank template in some papers that I have had for just a few years, then inside the pocket I stamped owls and the words truly amazing, the tiny owls are rub-ons, the crown on the top owl is a stamp, and if you are looking for the hidden buttons they are hard to find, they are actually the eyes of the bottom owl. on the front closure I have used Hels brand new stamps ( her very own design range which will be available from The Stamp Connection soon) I stamped them on cardstock, cut them out and arranged them with buttons for the centre, finished this of with a poorly orange painted photo turn, hope you like and thankyou for looking xx By the way no idea why the inside looks smaller as its not.

Not one but two

I can not believe it that I have made not one but two Tilda cards, never thought I would see that day, well never say never, I actually loved making these. the Tildas have been coloured in with Prisma Pencils and the background papers I think are Fancy Pants, they are just so bright and funky, I think you just might see more of these from me, especially as I have bought some stamps. hope you like them and thankyou for looking xx

Distressed side two

Well here is side two, did not go quite to plan and I ended up having to cover this side with paper then stamp, I had crumpled the tag sooooo much for side one that when I went to stamp on this side it looked like nothing. I got there in the end and these have been my hardest to do tags ever.

for this side I have used Distress inks, stamps and a Key and the faithful white pen, also for the first time I used Tims new Ideaolgy thingies ( not sure of the name but its the scrappy torn piece at the top with the lock stamped on it ) well you can kind of see what I have done, just hope this sides distressed and shabby enough for Hels. hope you like and thankyou for looking xx

SS Challenge Ebony and Ivory

Here is my Challenge entry for SS this week which is Ebony and Ivory, I have took advantage of my friend Dan who has free templates on his blog every Saturday, this week its flowers. There are an assortment on there and well worth a look.
The photograph is my Father-In-Law as a boy, he is now 82 and this was taken in 1929, this is a 12by12 scrapbook page for his Album, I have matted the pic on black and the flowers were cut out and distressed with a white Dabber and doubled up with brads, placed on 3D foam. the words are Tims Chronicle stamps, sorry Hels not a lot of stamping for this challenge but I needed to get this page done as his book is now complete.
thanks for looking, hope you like xx

very very distressed tags and MTTCC

Well what can I say about these tags, the swap this month for Hels was to have tags as shabby and old looking as you can, do you know just how hard it is to turn a nice new tag in to an old wreck, very very difficult, these tags have been burnt, screwed up, inked, crackle painted and rubbed to death, the stamps are Tims birds and the gates from Paperbag Studios, also I used a fine gold pen, I still have the backs of the tags to do yet but am waiting for a Stamp. these will cover the MTTCC which is birds this week.
well what you will make of these I do not know, but thanks for looking xx

SS Lost in France

Well here are some more of the little squares, these do actually only measure 3x3 inches, but seem to look larger on here, much the same as before, homemade papers, stamps from various places, a bit of glossy accents and wax seals, crackle paints, sorry the stamp at the top is the same as Angie and Rachel used, guess we all went shopping at the same place LOL. hope you like them and I believe there are just 2 left to complete, hooray and thanks for looking xx

Fathers Day and MTTCC

This card is rather naughty for my Father-In-Law, especially as he is 82 but I think he will find it rather appealling. this is an ideal card for the MTTCC this week which is brads and eyelets.
I bought some brilliant paper from Costco so used that for backgrounds, the bluey colour one I also stamped background images on, the naked lady is from Artistic Stamper and the Fathers Day is the StudioG stamps. I have put brads in the corners of the matt the lady is on, hope you like it and my FIL certainly will LOL. thankyou for looking xx
