very very distressed tags and MTTCC

Well what can I say about these tags, the swap this month for Hels was to have tags as shabby and old looking as you can, do you know just how hard it is to turn a nice new tag in to an old wreck, very very difficult, these tags have been burnt, screwed up, inked, crackle painted and rubbed to death, the stamps are Tims birds and the gates from Paperbag Studios, also I used a fine gold pen, I still have the backs of the tags to do yet but am waiting for a Stamp. these will cover the MTTCC which is birds this week.
well what you will make of these I do not know, but thanks for looking xx

Family Sunday Stampers

Here is my card for this weeks Sunday Stampers Challenge, I bought some fab paper at Ally Pally so this is a first, I used some LOL

I have stamped Family Values stamp from the Artistic Stamper on my new paper, I painted in the word Family Values and the word order with a dabber and paint brush and used pearl, I have cut the other words and numbers from Tims doo dads and glossy accented them and put some other weird film stuff on ( another great description from me) I matted the image on brown card and used brown brads in each corner, the word Family is using what looks like scrabble tiles. then i stuck a metal heart on the side and hey presto finished.

hope you like it and thanks for taking a look xx

Wage Slips Of A Different Kind

Here is another that some of you may have already seen, this is made from the old fashoined brown wage packets. I decorated the fronts with various stamps and distress inks, plus some wax seals to. then each envelope I made contents from CD discs to tags , stampbord, chipboard and mountboard. I decorated these in various of ways, this was one of those projects that you start then wish that you had not. must say when I had finally finished I was pretty pleased with the result.

Dan let me borrow his BIA to put it together, this is one of the only BIA projects I have done, sadly my BIA is still sitting in its box as I am to scared to try it out, oops, hope you enjoy looking at this as I do not see me making another to soon xx
by the way I am still getting used to this blogging lark x

Tons Of Tags

Well I have dragged these out of the woodwork, I did these tags as part of a bundle for my friend Hels, these were some of the very first tags that I made and goodness, I tried a mixture of things on these and to my suprise was pleased with the results. I guess I got ideas for these from Seeing the man himself ( Tim Holtz ) at Puffin Crafts in the February last year. and these were days before I started adding Embellishments, I actually think these are some of my faves!!!!!

There are I believe about 5 more to this set, I used everything from Dabbers, Watercolours, Distressing, Embossing and all kinds, Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them xx
I might just drag the others from out the woodwork yet !!

Jigsaw Scrap Page For A Friend

I made this 9 piece puzzle frame for Denize ( Glittering Goddess) for her Birthday in February ( wont tell you her age LOL) I covered the pieces with dabbers in pink and purple, her fave colours, the chipboard flowes are using white and lemon dabbers and jewels in the middle then glossy accents over the top, I did the chipboard words in black dabber and gold krylon then glossy accents over the top. the photo was kindly given to me by Denizes Husband Darren, hope you like it as much as Denize did.
